About

mvmCloud creates a separate server-backed folder for every Apps Hub profile. Users work only inside their own folder from the desktop, public page or optional browser extension. An administrator can create tightly scoped API keys for selected folders in their current Linux home directory; those keys provide file operations, never shell access. With a subscription, administrators can apply individual quotas and choose who may create encrypted browser-unlocked vault folders.

Storage quotas

Set a default size limit for every Apps Hub profile and override it for individual people. Without a subscription every folder is unlimited and no quota is applied; with one the limit is enforced on upload, so a single profile cannot fill the disk the whole installation shares.

Encrypted folders

Turn encrypted folders on for the installation and choose which profiles are allowed to create them. An encrypted folder is unlocked in the browser, so the server never holds the key — with the feature off, no profile can create one at all.

User API keys

Allow profiles to create restricted Bearer tokens for their own folder, instead of every key having to be issued by the administrator. The keys give file operations inside that one folder and never shell access.
