Why these eight aren't in the Store

The Store is for apps anyone can write and publish — installed, updated, and removed independently of the OS. These eight are the OS: the window manager needs a Terminal and a File Manager to be useful on day one, the desktop needs somewhere to install and manage everything else, and a few of them — Apps Hub, Settings — hold state the rest of the system depends on. They get their Start Menu categories the same way every Store app does, but they're seeded straight into the database on every startup and refuse to be uninstalled.
