About
A graphical file manager over the confined user's own filesystem, and the picker other apps open whenever they need the user to choose a file or folder.
What it does
- Browse, create, rename, move, copy and delete files and folders, with a Back button that returns to the folders you came from.
- When a paste, rename, move to Trash or delete fails, every failed item is listed with the system's own reason, and permission errors explain which write access is missing.
- Change permissions (chmod) and check a folder's real disk usage.
- Administrator mode for users who may use sudo: open a folder as root in its own window after entering your own Linux password, with access that ends after 15 minutes without use and a countdown in the title bar. Failed items from a permission error can also be retried as administrator.
- Search by name and edit text files directly in the browser.
- Every file type opens with its default app on a double click, Open with picks another app for one file or for good, and Store apps can add file types of their own.
- Chunked uploads, so large files don't need to fit in a single request.
- Doubles as the folder/file picker other apps open for the user.
