The system-wide notification centre. Every app can raise a notification with a title, body and an action that opens straight back into it.
What it does
- Any app can raise a notification with a title, body and an action link back into it.
- Unread badge in the taskbar.
- Mark read individually, in bulk, or precisely by what was actually viewed.
- Desktop accounts and Apps Hub profiles are kept apart even when they share a name, so a notice raised by the installation itself never turns up in the public bell of someone who is not the owner.
- Delete old notifications.
