About
Shopping List keeps as many lists as you need, with quantities and prices per item and a running total of what is bought and what is left. Lists can be shared with other Apps Hub accounts, so a household adds to the same list from different devices. Marking an item as bought can take its cost straight out of a Budget category, and un-marking it puts the money back — useful for a household budget where the weekly shop should just book itself. Items you bought do not simply vanish. They move into a history, and anything with a warranty can be given a start and end date and photos of the receipt or the item, so when something breaks two years later you can find the proof in seconds.
What it does
- Multiple named lists, each with its own items.
- Quantity and price per product, with bought / remaining / total shown live.
- Share a list with other Apps Hub accounts, add members from your favourites, remove them again.
- History of everything bought, kept even after the list is deleted.
- Warranty tracking with start and end dates and a countdown to expiry.
- Photo attachments per warranty — receipts, serial numbers, the item itself.
- Public web page for your Apps Hub account.
Integrations
Give an item a Budget category and marking it bought withdraws its cost from that category. Un-marking it reverts the withdrawal. If Budget is unavailable the item is still marked bought and you are told the deduction did not go through.
Requires: Budget installed, and its App API enabled in Apps Hub → Settings → App APIs. The switch is off by default.
