Community Comes to Apps Hub
mvmOS 1.12.0 adds Community, a closed feed where the profiles of one installation share with each other. The Store brings a fix for the Git Manager terminal and mvmAI chats that cost far less.
Core 1.12.0
• Community is a new tab of the public Apps Hub page. A post can be text with links and YouTube addresses, up to four photos, or a repost of someone else's post.
• The author chooses who sees it: everyone with a profile, only favourites, or chosen people found by name, who are notified.
• Others can like, comment on and repost, and a red dot on the tab shows when something new was shared.
• Every public app page has a New post button that offers what you just did in the app, such as a new listing or a logged drink, to drop into the text. Templates can be saved for each app, and the recent activity stays only in your own browser.
• Public Settings is now divided into sections: appearance, language and formats, sharing and the API.
• Clipboard copies text again when mvmOS is opened by an IP address over plain http, and says that copying images needs https.
• The browser extension popup recognises the site you are on more reliably inside the mvmOS Desktop app.
• All new text is available in all nine languages.
mvmAI 0.12.0
• With Claude Code, Codex CLI or Gemini CLI each chat now continues its own CLI session and sends only the new messages instead of the whole conversation every time.
• The provider and model are fixed when a chat starts, and administrators see which one answered.
Git Manager 1.12.3
• Fixes the terminal that could fill only the upper half of its panel while Codex or Claude ran in it.
Classifieds 1.11.0
• Every listing has a direct link, also returned through the External API.
Passwords 1.5.1
• Two factor codes work reliably inside the browser extension popup.
