Remember the Pairs
Remember the Pairs joins mvmOS as a new memory game for one to six players. Find matching cards on a flat table or explore a larger table wrapped around a rotating 3D cylinder.
Remember the Pairs 1.0.0
Turn over two cards. Find a matching pair and it leaves the table, giving you another turn. Miss a pair and the cards turn back; in multiplayer, the turn passes to the next player.
Choose your challenge
• Tables range from 6 to 48 pairs, depending on the picture theme.
• Up to 20 pairs use a flat grid. From 24 pairs, cards sit on a 3D cylinder that you turn with your finger, mouse or mouse wheel.
• The whole cylinder fits vertically. Devices without WebGL use the flat table instead.
• Choose a time limit per turn or play without a limit.
Nine picture themes
Play with animals, food, nature, transport, games and music, faces, numbers, colours or shapes. Each theme gives your memory a different set of pictures to learn.
Play together from different devices
Play alone or with up to six people using Game Hub profiles and invitations. Friends can join from computers, phones and tablets: a web browser and access to the same mvmOS server are what they need. Everyone sees each revealed card, and other players' cylinders turn to show it. Exploring the table before choosing a card stays private to each browser.
Keep your progress
Save and exit a solo game, then continue later. Game Hub records completed sessions and shows pairs found, accuracy, best streak, timeouts and table size, with multiplayer ratings as well.
For your mvmOS server
Requires mvmOS 1.16.0 and Game Hub. The desktop launcher offers to install Game Hub when it is missing. mvmOS is installed on a Linux server; using the game requires access to such a server. Its phone browser view is not a standalone phone app. The game includes all nine mvmOS interface languages.
