Flask Sort
Flask Sort joins mvmOS as a new 3D liquid puzzle for Game Hub, for one to six players. Pour layers of colour from flask to flask until every flask holds a single colour, through a game of one hundred levels that grow harder all the way.
Flask Sort 1.0.0
Tap a flask to lift it, then tap another to pour into it. The top colour pours as far as the other flask has room, and a flask that is full of one colour is sealed with a lid.
• Start with two colours in small flasks of three doses and finish with twenty colours in tall flasks of eight doses.
• The colours are chosen so that no two look alike, and they include white and dark grey.
• Any dose can be parked on another colour to make room, so a level is never stuck, and undo and restart are always there.
• Pours wait in line, so you can choose your next pour while the current one is still moving.
Every flask in view
All the flasks of a level are always on the screen, on shelves that rearrange for a phone or a computer. A flask you lift or pour from is always in front of the others. Flasks are filled to the very top, so you can see how much room is left.
Points that reward good play
Every dose you put in place is worth ten points, so everyone who clears a level gets the same base.
• A speed bonus gives one point for every second you have left.
• A golf style bonus is paid in flasks: finish in the par number of moves and you earn one flask, and one more flask for every move under it. Being over par costs nothing.
• A hint button shows the best next move and pours it for you, for the price of one flask of points.
• The result of a level stays on screen until you choose Next level, and only then does the next clock start.
Alone or with friends
Play alone through all one hundred levels, or finish the game after any level. Your score is recorded in Game Hub only when the game ends, and Game Hub's Save and exit keeps the exact position. With friends, everybody plays the same levels at their own pace on computers, phones and tablets in a web browser, the host chooses how many levels to play up to one hundred, and when everyone has finished the most points win.
For your mvmOS server
Requires mvmOS 1.16.0 and Game Hub. The desktop launcher offers to install Game Hub when it is missing. mvmOS is installed on a Linux server; using the game requires access to such a server. Its phone browser view is not a standalone phone app. The game includes all nine mvmOS interface languages.
