Your Family, Connected

Your Family, Connected
Family Tree 1.0.0 is a private place to build and explore your family story in mvmOS. Use the desktop window or an Apps Hub browser page, with separate access for each tree. Build the story • Add names, stories, sex, exact birth and death dates or partial years. Cards show life dates and current age or age at death, with approximate values identified clearly. • Connect parents and children, multiple partners or spouses, former relationships and adoptive parents. • Link existing people across trees you can access, without copying their personal data or granting access to their original tree. Explore your relatives Move and zoom around the graphical tree, search for a person, or switch to the compact list. Selecting someone highlights their connections and shows conventional kinship labels. Open a person's details to follow relatives and compare ages. The saved view preference follows your Apps Hub profile across devices. Share with clear roles Owners can invite viewers, editors and administrators to an individual tree. Viewers read; editors submit proposals; owners and administrators compare changes and approve or reject them. Server checks protect private trees, reject ancestry cycles and detect stale edits. Linking a profile identifies a person but does not give that profile access to a tree. Family statistics Optional Premium provides age and longevity rankings, family-size comparisons, data completeness and upcoming birthdays across one tree or all trees the profile can access. Linked people are counted once, and inaccessible private records stay private. Family Tree is an application for a Linux server running mvmOS. Its phone view opens in a browser and uses the same Apps Hub account and tree permissions as the desktop.
