Living Town gets realistic walking speeds, mvmCrypto launches as a new Store app
Living Town 0.5.0 corrects how fast residents actually walk, fixing timing throughout every commute, park visit and bus transfer. Roads can now form T-junctions and four-way crossroads, a new pedestrian crossing tool lets residents cross on foot, and walkers follow a real sidewalk network instead of a rough approximation. Each resident’s chance of dying is now drawn from an age-appropriate table rather than a flat risk, and abandoned homes and businesses can be bought back into use — including a joint purchase where two partners pool their money for a shared home.
mvmCrypto launches as a new Store app: a seed phrase vault and portfolio tracker. Every seed phrase is protected by two separate passwords, with all encryption happening in the browser. Portfolio tracks addresses across seven networks plus EVM tokens, refreshed straight from each network’s own public API in the visitor’s browser. A built-in Bitcoin explorer looks up any address or transaction, and a Premium subscription adds custom assets for tracking anything outside the supported networks.
