Automations Arrive

Automations Arrive
mvmOS 1.10.0 brings Automations, a new built in app that lets your apps act on their own, together with translated app names and updates to Hydration, Health, Classifieds and mvmAI. mvmOS 1.10.0 Automations is a new built in app. A rule says when it runs, what has to be true and what to do. • Start a rule when something happens in an app, such as a drink logged in Hydration or a task completed in Tasks, or every day at a chosen time • Check numbers the app reports or values the event carried, with all or any conditions required • Call the app's own functions or send yourself a notification • Works with every installed app that offers functions to Apps Hub, with no changes to the apps • Fields such as a Budget category are chosen from a list of your own items • Rules run as the Apps Hub profile that owns them, whether the change came from the app's window, its public page or the External APIs • Rules never start each other, and each keeps a journal of what it did or why it stopped • An optional public page that an administrator switches on in Apps Hub Premium: rules between apps • Read a value from another app, call another app's function or send a web request to a public address • The server owner turns it on in the new Automations section of Settings • Without it, other apps simply do not appear in the editor Apps Hub • A new Invitations page in the profile menu lists every invitation you made • Copy a waiting link again, see who registered with an accepted one, or delete an invitation so its link stops working Everywhere • Store apps and app categories now show their names in the language of the desktop or the visitor • The Start menu context menu is translated • Every script, stylesheet and image carries the time it last changed in its address, so no browser, desktop app or proxy keeps serving an old copy after an update Hydration 1.1.0 • Counts energy, sugar and protein next to water, caffeine and alcohol • Values per 100 ml for every drink, editable for your own drinks • New ready-made drinks such as herbal tea, cocoa, protein shake, kefir, ayran, plant milk, smoothie, coconut water, sports drink and cider • Soup, yogurt and fruit counted by weight • New items stay hidden until you show them in Settings, so nobody's list suddenly grows Health 1.1.0 • Daily energy, sugar and protein pages with charts and statistics • Hydration sends these totals together with water, caffeine and alcohol Classifieds 1.9.0 • The administrator can move any active listing, or a whole selection, to the top from the Moderation panel • No 24 hour wait and the owner's own bump is not used up • The listing shows when it was moved, and the owner is told in their own language mvmAI 0.9.0 • An administrator who chose automatic command execution gets Claude Code, Gemini CLI or Codex CLI with all of its own tools and full access to the server • A whole task can run like a coding assistant in a terminal for up to 30 minutes without being cut off by a proxy • Everyone else stays limited as before • Premium: point a chat at one of the apps on your Apps Hub profile, and only that app's functions are offered • Premium: every change mvmAI wants to make is first shown as a form to correct and save or cancel, and mvmAI reports only what was really saved Translated names Beam Builder 1.2.3, Budget 1.6.2, Calculator 1.3.2, Calendar 1.3.1, mvmOS Chat 1.4.1, Cost Splitter 1.4.4, DeepL Translator 1.0.2, Game Hub 1.15.5, Git Manager 1.12.1, Image Optimizer 1.1.8, Living Town 0.6.2, Local Display 1.0.2, Process Manager 1.3.3, RSS Reader 1.4.4, Server Manager 1.6.3, Server Monitor 1.3.4, Shopping List 1.3.1, State Tracker 1.1.4, System Info 1.2.3, Tasks 1.6.1, Telegram Hub 1.1.4 and Tower Defense 1.0.2 now carry their names in all nine supported languages.
