More than a shortcut to a website

The client behaves like a focused browser built around self-hosted work: it remembers where you were, keeps every server separate and integrates activity with your operating system.

01

Servers and websites together

Add, rename, remove and reorder multiple mvmOS installations. Regular websites can live beside them in their own collapsible group.

02

Your workspace comes back

Open tabs, window size and position, sidebar state and login cookies are restored when the app starts again.

03

Real tab behaviour

Desktop and Apps Hub open separately. New windows become nested tabs, while links leaving your installation open in the system browser.

04

Unread counts where you look

Page counters are combined into dock badges, Windows taskbar overlays and Linux launcher or tray counts, with attention highlighting for new activity.

05

Chrome extensions included

Load an unpacked folder, ZIP or CRX. Extension popups, options pages and content scripts work across your tabs — including password managers.

06

Private when you step away

Protect the whole window with a PIN, lock it instantly from the sidebar or set an automatic timeout. While locked, no tab content remains visible.

Small conveniences that add up

  • Close to tray on Linux and Windows
  • Hide the sidebar with Ctrl/Cmd+B
  • True full screen with F11
  • Desktop notifications and media permissions
  • Automatic HTTPS address upgrades
  • Built-in update checks from GitHub Releases
